How to Eliminate Soil Gnats

Without constant moisture in the top centimeter, the cycle breaks.

Spraying adults and watering daily is the classic gag. The larvae remain in the coco.

Protocol

Let 1-2 cm dry, cover with perlite or clay pebbles, water from below, remove filled saucers, do not use garden soil indoors.

Critical: larvae eat roots. Isolate affected trays and dry them out.

Covering perlite and weight habit. Silica gel helps the cabinet, not the alveolus.

Cat litter?

There are tricks. Agricultural perlite is cleaner and we sell it for that.

How long does it take to go away?

A cycle takes about 20 days. Two weeks of dry surface is noticeable.
