FAQ

What should I do if the seed tray has mold?

Isolate the gray cell, lower humidity, and save the rest with a dry surface.

1 min read

Fuzz and fallen stems cannot be fixed with more humid heat. They are fixed with air and less water.

Right now

Remove fallen seedlings and their substrate. Open the lid. Use a gentle fan. 24 hours without watering if the rest can hold. Perlite on the surface. Do not reuse that soil in the next pack.

What we recommend at Control Garden

Seedling trays (the fungus travels less than in a common container) and new coco-perlite.

There can be both: wet coco. Dry the surface.

Wash with water and soap when recycling. Rinse well.
More density?
Worse. Thin out if you sowed randomly.
Bottom heat?
Yes for germination, with ventilation when sprouting. Heat + lid = mushroom.
