Basil with Black Leaves
A drop to 10 °C or a night with wet leaves leaves basil wilted.
Basil does not turn purple beautifully: it necroses. Bring the pot inside if 11 °C is forecasted and stop misting the leaves.
Causes
Cold, strong sun with wet leaves, waterlogging, sometimes fungus.
Action
Cut off the black parts, drain, provide warmth, do not water from above. If the stem is soft, take cuttings from the healthy parts and use new substrate.
