A nursery olive tree in 20 L is not an olive grove. It wants sun, wind, and for the root ball not to live in a bucket of water.

Care

Large pot, full sun, deep and spaced watering, draining substrate with expanded clay.

Dry leaves due to cold, suffocation, or scale insects. Leaf spot in humidity. No hydrogel excessively.

Pot 18-25 L and expanded clay/perlite. The ornamental olive dies more from overwatering than from drought.

Does it produce olives?

Sometimes, a few. In a pot, it is mainly about form and leaf.

Indoor?

Not good. It wants outdoors. A dark landing will deplete it.

The olive tree sheds leaves when the root ball is unhealthy, not due to a lack of foliar fertilizer.

Without water drainage, even the most expensive substrate turns into a swamp with yellow leaves.

Overwatering kills more plants than August vacations.
