FAQ
Can I use hydrogel with tomatoes?
Terrace tomatoes are the star use case. Dosage and mixing are key.
Tomatoes drink like a horse in July. The gel spaces out watering and reduces splitting due to "forgetting + hose watering". Poorly mixed, it rots.
How
Hydrate, mix into 20 L of substrate in a 25 L pot, stake on the same day, and water deeply less often. Check moisture at 5 cm.
What we recommend at Control Garden
1 kg of hydrogel is enough for several terrace tomatoes. Use a 25 L pot, not a 7 L with gel as a miracle solution.
