How to Apply Ant Ant Gel at Home and in the Garden
Application protocol for the attractant gel so workers reach the queen.
The best gel on the market fails if you place it in a freshly bleached sink or on top of a disturbed nest. This guide is the protocol, not the theory.
Home
Follow the trail to the crack, not to the trash can. Place the trap dry, pressed against the wall. Syringe: drops of 0.5-1 cm in joints, behind appliances, never on food countertops. Check after 3 days and reload if it has dried out or been taken completely.
Garden and Terrace
Perimeter of the bed, feet of supports if they climb up there, not the foliage. If there are aphids, treat them too: the ants will return to “their livestock.” Do not hose down the bait point on the same day.
Safety
Closed traps with children and cats. Do not mix with sprays. Wash your hands. Keep the syringe capped. If a pet licks a drop, consult the veterinarian with the container in hand.
What We Recommend at Control Garden
10 g syringes (1, 2, or 3 units) and traps x2 to x8. Start with the pack that covers all trails at once: a single point leaves sister colonies.
