FAQ
How often should you water coconut fiber?
Water coconut when it lightens and the pot feels light, not daily by schedule.
Coconut fiber can be deceptive: the surface dries quickly while the bottom remains moist. A schedule kills more plants than thirst.
Practical Rule
Pick up the pot. Light and toasted coconut: water until it drains. Heavy and dark: wait. In 25 L under July sun, it may be every 1-2 days; indoors, every 5-8.
What we recommend at Control Garden
Coconut + perlite for better drainage. Without perlite, coconut becomes anaerobic.

Until water comes out?
Yes, a deep watering. Then wait. Mini-waterings daily are worse.
Water with pH?
If you fertilize in coconut, it matters. Measure drainage occasionally.
Hydrogel in coconut?
Little. Coconut already retains moisture. In extreme attic conditions, use a low dose.
Does it smell bad?
It's suffocating. Add perlite, holes, and reduce frequency.
Seedling the same?
No: more frequent and gentle, never waterlogged. Lower watering.
Winter?
Space it out a lot. Cold and wet coconut rots.
